Tamara Yu joined the American Visa Law Group in February of 2015 as an immigration specialist. She had built up a significant base of experience at the firm, handling a high volume of PERM Labor Certifications and H-1B petitions. Prior to working at the firm, she gained valuable employment based immigration experience working at one of the largest immigration law firms in the country for over a year, and overall, had 2.5 years of experience on employment and family based immigration prior to joining the firm.
Tamara was born and grew up in Peru and immigrated to the U.S. to pursue her studies. She speaks English and Spanish.
She enjoys expanding her culinary skills, trying new recipes, and spending much of her free time at her family.
